The UCLA Office of Corporate, Foundation and Research Relations (CFRR) can help unit-based development efforts create new relationships and steward existing partnerships with corporations and foundations.

UCLA Development officers can rely on CFRR to assist with:

 
     
  Prospecting  
 
  Identify potential corporate and foundation funders
  Connect projects to complementary efforts on campus
  Help articulate project ideas to improve funding potential
 
     
  Cultivation  
 
  Develop general and funder-specific cultivation strategies
  Contact corporations and foundations in person, by phone or with a letter of inquiry
  Coordinate project ideas seeking funding with like efforts across campus
 
     
  Solicitation  
 
  Review, edit and coordinate proposal submissions
  Develop proposal language addressing university-wide issues
  Navigate university and funder policies
 
     
  Stewardship  
 
  Negotiate gift and grant agreements
  Insure gifts and grants are properly recorded
  Develop stewardship strategies for funded projects
